The new Istanbul Airport CIP Lounge was opened in April 2019. This new airport has a capacity of 150 million passengers and is one of the largest airports in the world. The spectacular business lounge of Turkish Airlines, which was established in an area of 9,200 square meters, has been thoughtfully designed with details such as lowered levels for children and easily accessible food stations. The lounge is extensively decorated with greenery and features a variety of bakery items. The library and bedrooms are also impressive. The interior design was done by the British company Softroom, with input from representatives of Turkish Airlines and DO&CO. One of the highlights of the special lounge area is the art gallery, which is organized by Istanbul Modern and provides a nice respite for those waiting for a flight. For the stone walls in the central corridor section of this area, our Stonewrap Troy product was chosen. Due to the structural requirements of the space, it was necessary for the cladding material to have as little weight as possible and our products were produced at a weight of less than 25 kg/m2. Our Troy-Inci product, which has a unique texture and color specific to Turkey, was produced at a weight of 23 kg/m2 and was successfully used in the project. This beatiful Longe was designed by Pininfarina & Aecom
