Cement-Based, Single-Component, Polymer-Modified, Flexible, High-Performance, and Stable Thick Bed Adhesive Mortar with Reduced Slippage

Application Areas:

  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • Applicable on horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Used for adhering manufactured stone, paving stone, and brick veneer.

Advantages:

  • Flexible and provides strong adhesion.
  • Resistant to water and frost.
  • Unaffected by temperature changes.
  • Offers high stability and does not sag in vertical applications.
  • Allows installation without the need for floor screeding.

Surface Preparation:

  • The application surface must be fully cured.
  • The surface must be free of dust, oil, tar, bitumen, paint, silicone, curing compounds, detergents, and formwork oils that may hinder adhesion.
  • The surface should be moistened to remain damp before application. If the surface is highly absorbent, a primer should be applied before proceeding.

Mortar Preparation:

  • 25 kg of STONEWRAP Manufacturing Stone and Brick Veneer Adhesive Mortar should be mixed with approximately 5-6 liters of clean water using a low-speed mixer until a lump-free consistency is achieved.
  • The prepared mortar should be left to mature for 5-10 minutes, then mixed again for 1-2 minutes before use.
  • The mixed mortar should be used within 1.5 - 2 hours.

Application Information:

  • The material should ideally be applied with a trowel, and a double-sided bonding method should be used by applying the adhesive both to the back of the covering material and to the surface.
  • The covering material should be placed within 15-20 minutes of applying the adhesive.
  • For strong adhesion, press firmly using a rubber mallet.
  • Consumption: Varies depending on the application surface.

Precautions:

  • Avoid application at temperatures below +5°C or above +35°C.
  • Do not exceed the recommended amount of water in the mix.
  • Avoid applying on frozen surfaces, areas at risk of freezing within 24 hours, or surfaces exposed to direct sunlight and strong wind.
  • Do not add additional water or powder to expired mortar.

Packaging:

  • Available in 25 kg kraft bags.

Shelf Life:

  • Can be stored for 12 months in a dry environment in its unopened packaging, stacked up to 10 layers on a pallet.

Health and Safety:

  • As with all chemical products, avoid contact with food, skin, eyes, and mouth during use and storage.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing, gloves, goggles, and a mask during application.
